TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Yeah, we gotta do the serious legal stuff too :)
1. Booking Requests & Confirmations
All bookings are requests until confirmed in writing by Sits and Giggles. A meet & greet (in person or virtual) is required before any booking is accepted. I reserve the right to decline a booking if it is not the right fit for my service.

2. Deposits & Payments
A non-refundable deposit (amount specified during booking) is required to secure your dates. The balance is due on or before the first day of the sit, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Cancellations & Changes
If you need to cancel or change your booking, please notify me as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable, but I will always do my best to accommodate changes or re-bookings. Full details of my cancellation policy will be provided at the time of booking.

4. Home & Pet Requirements
Your home must be clean, safe, and ready for occupancy. Please provide clear instructions for all household and pet routines, including emergency contacts and any special needs. I reserve the right to decline or end a sit if the property is unsafe or unacceptably unclean.
5. Pet Health & Behaviour
You are responsible for disclosing all relevant information about your pets’ health, behaviour, and special needs. Sits and Giggles is not liable for issues arising from undisclosed behavioural problems or pre-existing health conditions.

6. Service Guarantee
Every booking is covered by my Service Quality Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the service, please notify me within 24 hours of your return so I can address any concerns.

7. Insurance & Liability
I am fully insured for house and pet sitting services. While I take the utmost care with your home and pets, Sits and Giggles is not responsible for loss or theft unless due to my gross negligence. Clients are encouraged to maintain their own comprehensive home and pet insurance.

8. Privacy & Security
All information shared with me is kept strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of providing your service.

9. Updates & Communication
You will receive regular updates during your booking as agreed. Please let me know your preferred method and frequency of communication.

10. Emergencies & Veterinary Care
In the event of a pet health emergency, I will make every reasonable effort to contact you or your emergency contact. If urgent veterinary care is required, I reserve the right to seek treatment at your expense, using your preferred vet if possible.

11. Force Majeure
Sits and Giggles is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond my reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions.

12. Indemnity
By booking, you confirm your pets are up-to-date with vaccinations, and you agree to indemnify Sits and Giggles against any claims arising from undisclosed behavioural or health issues.

13. Agreement
By confirming a booking with Sits and Giggles, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.
